Our Name Highlights Syrian Food
The Palmyra’s Kitchen focusses on sharing home-cooked Middle Eastern cuisine featuring Syrian and Lebanese food with the Finsbury Park community. Palmyra’s Kitchen was chosen as the restaurant name because Palmyra is a well-loved historical area in Syria. While more people are familiar with Lebanese food, we wanted to highlight Syrian cuisine and bring it to the forefront. The word ‘Kitchen’ is synonymous with home-cooked and wholesome food. Thus, the combination of these two words represents the essence of what the restaurant is about.
Whether you want to share a meze with friends or order your favourite dishes, there will be something to tempt you. The focus is on healthy salads, hearty stews, charcoal cooked dishes, and grilled meats and fish. If you are not sure what to choose, check out our set menus.
